New Leo Sale

The new Leotard Sale begins today, December 12th and runs through December 17th. It will be held in the viewing area outside the gym this week daily from 4:30-8:30pm and 8:30-4:30pm on Saturday. Thank you to those that have already signed up to volunteer. We are asking for 2 volunteers at each 2 hour time slot. See the bulletin board in the locker room for the sign up sheet. Remember that these hours will go toward your volunteer hours required for this season.
The volunteer working the 4:30-6:30 shift; please arrive by 4:15 to have time to set up and take inventory before the sale begins

Hair Clinic/Flip-Flop Event (Time Updated)

This team building event date is Sunday, November 13 in the gym 11:00 AM -1:00 PM. The girls will be able to work on their flip-flops, blankets for the animal shelter, and scarves for themselves while the parents are learning how to do competitive hair styles for the upcoming season.
Here are the planned activities for the girls:
Decorating Flip Flops to wear at the meets (bring black flip flops with you) – All new gymnasts to the team will be provided fleece strips of fabric to decorate those flip flops!
Making a red and black fleece scarf (cost of $3)
Make a small fleece blanket to donate to the animal shelter (cost TBD)
In order to be prepared with enough supplies for the event, I will need to know what your gymnast will be participating in 
Missy will place a sign up sheet on the bulletin board at the gym. Please make sure to sign up the next time you are at the gym, but no later than Wendesday, November 9th. If you do not sign up, there may not be enough supplies available.
Ladies Night Out – Vendor Night (December 8, 2011) – SEEKING VENDORS/CRAFTERS

The third annual Ladies Night Out – Vendor Night is scheduled for Thursday, December 8, 2011 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at One Under Banquet Hall in Livonia.
We are currently seeing vendors or crafters for the event. The cost to participate is a $50 donation to the LGA Booster Club, plus a raffle item to be donated valued at $20. We get several hundred people through our doors normally, and only allow about 20 vendors, so it is good exposure for those that participate.
If you know of any vendors or crafters that are interested in taking part in our event, please have them email Tami at lgatreasurer@gmail.com and she will send out a contract to them.
We will soon have a flyer available for team use as well to promote the event. Thank you all for your participation.

Casino Bus Trip Update

Good morning. I have been able to secure a third bus through another company, Blue Lakes Charter. This will be a 46 passenger bus. However, we need to still sell another 30-35 tickets to get this thing full, otherwise our profit goes down by several dollars per ticket. Please do your best to sell this out and give me your numbers asap, as seats will be filled on a first email received basis.
As of now, we only have about 15 for the third bus, so I have it listed as a wait list, as we would need to sell at least 25-30 to make it worthwhile. Please get your best selling game on and fill the bus!
