2011-12 LGA Sponsorship Program

We’re ready to kick off our sponsorship program for the 2011/2012 season!  Participation in this program is optional for all booster club families.

This program is really easy and the more money you raise, the less you’ll have to pay out of your own pocket!

For anyone new to the booster club, this will be our 6^th year for sponsorships.  Sponsorships can be collected from family, friends, or businesses.  We offer 6 levels of sponsorships starting at just $25!! Gymnasts will receive 100% of the sponsorship money they collect which will go into their individual accounts and may be used for various LGA expenses.

If you plan on approaching a business, you will need to submit the name of the business to the Sponsorship Chairperson, Wendi Rhoad, before approaching them.  Wendi will be keeping a list of all businesses LGA gymnasts have solicited to avoid any one business being approached multiple times.

So, here’s the process…step-by-step:

1. Submit the name(s) of the business(es) that you plan to approach for sponsorships to Wendi Rhoad, either via email at:  wrhoad@twmi.rr.com  or contact her directly at 313-330-2322. You must receive approval for business sponsors BEFORE you make contact with that business.

2. Download the Sponsorship Agreement Form and Cover Letter.

2. Visit the potential sponsor in person (preferred) to make your request.

4. Your sponsor(s) can either give you their check and signed agreement form (you can place them in the LGA Booster club box at the gym), or they can mail them to the LGA PO Box (address is on the agreement form).  Be sure to put your gymnast’s name on the agreement form so she receives credit for the sponsorship.

That’s it – it’s that simple! If you have any questions or problems, please don’t hesitate to contact Wendi Rhoad, or anyone on the Booster Club Board.  All sponsorships should be submitted by October 1, 2011.

Copper	$25 – $49
Bronze	$50 – $74
Silver	$75 – $99
Gold	$100 – $149
Platinum	$150 – $249
Diamond	$250 & up

This is an optional fundraising program, but one that can quickly reduce (even eliminate) LGA booster club expenses!

100% of the amount you receive from sponsorships will go toward your daughter’s individual account (different from last year).  All monies received from sponsorships must go toward booster club fees first.  Once those fees are paid in full, any additional credits in your account may then be used toward tuition payments to the club (i.e., your monthly tuition fees paid to LPS).

Although this program is optional, keep in mind that each gymnast is responsible for a minimum amount of fundraising dollars.  Fundraising requirements for each gymnast level are listed below…

• Level 3 – $275
• Level 4 – $375
• Levels 5 & 6 – $475
• Level 7 and up – $575

Sponsorships are divided into two categories:  Business & Friends/Family.

Sponsor Benefits (Business Only):

Copper: Individual recognition from gymnast (gymnasts are encouraged to thank those businesses that contributed at this level either verbally or in a written note)

Bronze: Name on t-shirt

Silver: Name on t-shirt, name on website

Gold: Name on t-shirt, name on website with link to business’ site

Platinum: Name on t-shirt, name on website with link to business’ site, photo/plaque

Diamond: Name on t-shirt (highlighted at the top), name on website with link to business’ site, photo/plaque, invitation to LGA’s Vendor Night

All Friends/Family sponsorships will have their name printed on the sponsorship t-shirt (Bronze level & up).
